I’m often out and about with my camera in and around Birmingham and the Black Country, capturing the astounding array of wildlife that lives within the urban area: from the minute to the gigantic. I have a special interest in invertebrates, and in particular, pollinators insects – which include hoverflies, bees, beetles and wasps (yes, wasps are pollinators!).
As well as taking photos I occasionally produce artworks and ID sheets to showcase various different species. You can see some and download some of these here.
I’m also interested in cartography and I’ve currently working on producing a full-colour detailed map of parts of south Birmingham as it was in 1838, You can read more on that project here.
